My 11 year journey as a Yogi (a committed practitioner of yoga) and a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher (RYT 500) led me to create the Thriving Yogi Studio©️ specializing in private yoga instruction. The Thriving Yogi Studio offers private, customized yoga classes for individuals, couples and small groups.

Private Practice Sessions:
Private, customized yoga sessions are a solid foundation for a meaningful personal yoga practice. Students receive direct assistance to hone their skills and gain a fuller understanding of yoga in a private space. In addition to the focused attention, yoga sessions are supplemented with customized sequences for use at home as part of your personal practice. Private practice sessions promote mind, body and soul awareness, while increasing strength, flexibility and endurance.
Benefits:
Continuous and consistent yoga practice can increase your flexibility, strength, endurance, energy and peace of mind. Since yoga is for every Body, students are provided with safe pose modifications and variations, use of props as well as a fuller understanding of yoga.
You deserve to live your best life and that includes spending meaningful time with yourself each week. Our work together will inspire your yoga practice with yogic philosophy and relaxation/meditation for a deeper experience. I will encourage self connection, gratitude and a specific theme to set the tone for each of your practice sessions.
Getting Started:
Private practice sessions start with a brief assessment to clarify your goals and identify any physical challenges that may impact your personal practice. I’ll use this information to customize classes to meet your goals and help you develop a comprehensive practice that meets your needs.
Frequency:
The true benefits of yoga are realized through regular, consistent practice. Monthly private sessions are comprised of two or three, 1-hour classes per week at the Thriving Yogi Studio. In addition, students will receive customized yoga sequences to practice at home.
Yoga Styles:
Our sessions are tailored to your goals and draw influence from the following yoga styles: Hatha (the practice of physical yoga poses), Vinyasa (movement between poses form a flowing sequence in coordination with the breath), Ashtanga (dynamic, physically demanding practice that synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify and detox the body), Yin (slow, meditative, deep stretch targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body), Restorative (resting with the support of props); and guided relaxation-meditation as part of Savasana, the closing for each practice session.
